well things have not went very fast, after buying the 93 jetta with the aaz with the bad crank gear. The car was so good that I fixed the few things, had it inspected and now drive it every day runs grate. So this means that the vanagon is getting the 1.6 td from the 86 jetta.
Now then after going down a few dead end paths for a dk tranny I am still looking, If anyone has one that they would like to sell I would love to hear from you. I am in Saskatoon Sask. Canada
