FS: 1978 VW Rabbit Diesel

I'm selling my 1978 VW Rabbit to buy a larger vehicle for my family. It is 98% all ORIGINAL. The rabbit is silver (the paint was redone about 2 years ago) in color with black interior. I put a 5-speed tranny in to increase mileage. Everything else is original The interior is the original vinyl and is flawless....zero tears. It has an adjustable drivers mirror, a sun roof (that functions), AC (needs compressor) and new tires (less than 6 months)......she had 56K ORIGINAL MILES!!!!! 1.5L N/A.....I drive 42 miles each day. She's getting between 40-45 mpg and I'd drive her anywhere in the US and be 100% confident. This is an AZ/CA vehicle.....ZERO RUST! Asking $5500 FIRM I hate to sell it I just need something bigger.
