Hello!
I am looking for an alternator that would fit a 1990 Jetta N/A with A/C. Thanks for your help.

Check with some of the online parts stores and see if it's the same part as the gasser VWs use.
If it is, you might have good luck finding one on the vortex, samba, craig's list...etc.
Many more gassers were made than diesels... and I'm almost sure mine looked the same as the gassers at the salvage yard.

Pretty sure the diesel alternator is a higher capacity than a gasser (glow plugs, bigger starter, bigger battery, higher compression etc) but it's certainly worth checking. I see 20 gassers in the junkyard for every diesel... 'course, that's one of the reasons I drive a diesel !
