I NEED a 1.6TD Injector Pump rebuilt... where should I go?

Hi All,

now that I know I need to replace my super leaky IP, does anyone know of a decent rebuilder (DC area prefably, but not necessary), who can set it up for biodesel

You'll hear this from more than me (Unless all you want is the seals replaced) but Jack sells about the highest quality rebuilt injection pumps. You pay for one, send him your core. And all the new seals are set up for Bio

I'm with Coke on this...I had my pump rebuilt through Jack. Turn around time was a week.

Since we are on the topic of what Jack sells, I was wondering who makes the air and oil filters he sells, are they MANN or OEM? And also, his fast glow plugs, are they Duraterms? Thanks.

I'm starting to think all new bosch fast glows are duraterms.
The last box I bought said duraterms on it and the part number matched the number on the individual boxes inside,...
but the individual boxes didn't say duraterm anymore.

Since people mentioned him, I'll share my review of Giles; thumbs down.

I ordered a quad of injectors for an NA from him years ago. Before I installed them, I thought they looked a little suspicious, and so I had them pop tested at a local diesel shop. They were all over the place!

You'll never hear a bad experience about the purveyor of vw parts that runs this fine website, and for good reason; integrity. You can't put a price on that.
