looking for part # NEED HELP!

Post by kayakwesty »

I have a 1991 1.6 na diesel.

It has a rotary vacu pump, after the vacu pump, there is a hose, then a plastic piece that "tees" off one tee goes to the I.P. PUMP. then the 2nd tee goes to the heating and air controls

Then it has a main big hose that goes to the brake booster. I broke the plastic tee piece that comes off the Vacu pump.

I need a part #, when I call no one knows what I'm talking about!

No help on the part #, but you may be able to use rubber vacuum hose, copper plumbing fittings, and hose clamps to rig something up.

Looked up in ETKA, and it show as assembly, vacumn pipe W/ check valve Pn 191611931L. no individual pn for T alone. Dealer will want mucho dinero i bet. I would head to junk yard or fix/make the part. Some pipe reducer fittings, and some pieces of hose and you can probably fabricate a serviceable replacement (do it right though, since your brakes are dependent on vacumn for proper operation). Regards

well I can't go to Junkyard, I'm in Central Alabama, if it's a not jacked-up pickup truck forget it...let alone something that gets good gas mileage!

Thank you for the help

Jack doesn't have the part, so with your help with the part#

(competitor's name removed by moderator).com has it 39 dollars.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!
