2002 Jetta or 2003 Jetta?

I am new to the VW world but with the rising cost of gas I am about to make my first step.

Got a line on a 2002 TDI Jetta and a 2003 TDI Jetta.

Is there any significant difference's that I need to think about?

The 2002 is super clean with 124 K on it.
The 2003 is.. lets say dirty.. with 184 K on it.. both about the same price.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Not much difference between the two, I believe. You'll have to look at engine and suspension to make a decision. "Clean" doesn't necessarily mean "maintained", but those who are meticulous about their cars generally don't neglect maintenance.
