1.6 N/A VS Vanagon 1.6 N/A What are the differences?

this posted on the general forum as well.

What are the differnces between the 1.6 NA and the Vanagon version? I know the vanagon is sitting sideways like on a 45 or something. what parts are interchangable? Do the pumps switch out? Head? block? etc?

The block and head should be the same. All of the externals including the valve cover, I believe are slightly different. The oil pan is different along with the pump pickup. The 50 degree mounting was handled by the bellhousing machining.
