Thank you Everyone (86 Golf on the road again)

You guys (and gals) are AWESOME. My 86 Golf was leaking at the IP after I installed a new steering rack (just a coincidence I'm sure) and I was ready to just give up as the car is in need of paint, tires, etc. But after reading this forum for weeks to the point of where I felt my head would explode, I found a common thread with you folks. You love your VW diesels and this inspired me to fix the car. I used the nail polish advice, the match marking technique as well as many other suggestions to replace the cold start O rings and my Golf is back on the road and I plan on having it painted, new tires, etc. (I only removed the IP, but held the timing belt in place on the cam and crankshaft with clips until I have time to replace the belt). Currently looking for some nice wheels. BTW, I also used the info found on Front End alignment to get it close after replacing the rack and it is close enough to drive until I get wheels and tires prior to alignment.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU Keep up the good work.
