I know a few have put SAAB 900(?) intercoolers in behind the DS tailight.
I'm unsure on the ducting of air, or if enough positive airflow can be drawn in the outside vent across the IC and out (where?)

I'm also curious.. as I do need to IC my 1.6TD and I have a saab IC awaiting my time and $$.

There's TONS of airflow down the d-pillars. The Saab 900 intercooler is perfect, IMO.

That's what i have it is a tight fit even when you cut into the firewall of the D-pillar. The inter-cooler is too wide to fit in the column with no cut. (maybe there is some strange skinny inter-cooler out there that would fit but I doubt it) i have a blower and a home made shroud... it doesn't keep it cool when under boost but it is much cooler then straight pipe.
