Couldn't resist posting. Here's my 8 year old daughter removing the little nuts from the glow plugs on an engine were disassembling together. Every evening when I get home from work, she'd excited to take a couple more things apart on it. Absolutely Priceless.

That particular engine will be disassembled and the used for parts and sold. I have one other that will be parts and four that will be assembled for various vehicles. Two of the four will be installed into vanagons. I'm not yet sure what will happen to the other two that I (we) will build.

My two sons were that age long ago. I call it the age of wonderment. A person really can't get enough of it. Now there in there thirties and now they say I can't fix anything without a hammer. I did notice that big mother in the picture. Keep using it you won't get cabal syndrome.

A keeper, Andrew.
This is also an excellent picture of the only way the glow plugs are *easy*.
My two daughters 11 and 13 have worked their way up to oil changes... perhaps this picture will inspire them the next time I've got a rebuild on the stand.
I keep telling them about the money they're gonna save over their lifetimes...

Priceless, indeed .
She's a lovely little girl who's, clearly, enjoying herself.
Would that be one of "Dad's" old shirts she's wearing?
The only picture I have of my two (son & daughter)
"helping Dad fix the car" (oil change) was taken when
we were in the U.K.
A Mercedes 123 series 280T station wagon (quite
common over there, but rather rare on this side of the
water) with two sets of legs protruding from under the
front end.
Enjoy it while you can...nowadays, with all my diesel
stuff, all over the place, they think I'm crazy.
