If it has sat for 9 years, then PIMO IMPORTNTE is to change the timing belt. Even if it had zero miles on it 9 years ago, it's done. If the timing belt goes the engine will be destroyed. I wouldn't even crank it over prior to changing the belt. To accomplish the belt change the proper tools and procedure must be followed or again, the engine would be toast.
