moisture at IP head and copper washer between valves

I just installed a wvo system on my 90'. I replaced the IP about 7-8months ago and it has been dry the whole time on diesel. I noticed some moisture on the IP at the head seal and at the timing hole between the valves at about 300 miles. I am now at 400 miles on wvo.

Is this a symptom of the wvo eating at the seals on the IP or running the wvo at too cold a temp?I don't see any drips off the IP.

I am not looking forward to another leaking IP.
I still need to reseal the original IP with the viton seals.
the currentl installed IP does not have viton seals.

I don't think vegy has much to do with it, I've run vegy on old pumps and never had a leak;... over 10,000 miles.
