Leaky heater control vlave

Post by Jhastings »

Anybody had the problem of a leaky heater control valve? Mine is brand new and leaking from the bolt in the top if it.

Any good fixes?

Mine usually get sticky and the lever pushes toward cold really hard and bends the cable.
I suppose they could leak.
Is there a replaceable o-ring that could leak?

Send it back for another new one! They are pretty much a throw away part if it is the little plastic inline valve.
