Here is a pic of my 81 Rabbit I have been working on this winter. I have changed to round head lights and rebuilt my turbo 1.6. This is after I cleaned and painted the engine bay. Just got the engine started today. Hope the pic works.[/url]

Everybody else lists their cars here - but not me.

I have too many to count

ImageThanks for all the comments. Here is a side view. The engine is out of a 85 Jetta. I am going to finish painting it in a week or two. I use to have a 1967 Mustang with the same color red. I told my 11 year old son after I get it painted if you squint real hard it will look like my Mustang. My son said HA right dad.

The turbo has about 20-25 more H.P. than the N/A engine. It's not a ton more power but it's nice for going up hills and passing cars. Also it's nice to hear the turbo wind up. It puts a grin on yor face :D

That one deserves a name and a ECO -Turbo setup , Fraulein Bunny Bondo has , that way you can choose Horsepower or Smileage on the run.

Bondo puts out 100 HP no sweat. . Try it once , and you are sold. , read my lips.

Hagar,
Is the H.P. = Smileage Info on your post? IF so what page? How do you set up to have H.P. = smileage on the fly? Cable to the I.P in the car?

Diesel Dean : yes and no , no cables . Just clear plastic tubing Aquarium stuff..

First let me admire "RED" to get in the mood. IMHO the VW 1984 1.6 L Turbo Rabbit is the finest VW ever produced . RED is in that group. You are blessed (I am not religious) RED and a 11 year old boy .One lucky boy if you two get along .

Programming RED has to be done best at home (I do it on the road at times) .On my dash is a selector switch Mini toggle SW. ECO and Turbo can be managed by the driver, , Works like a hot dam. The whole thing is so easy , it will blow your socks off. In ECO mode 100 Mpg Imp in Turbo with pedal to the metal 100 Hp.(Sae). .

Tell us where the line from top of the LDA goes , it should go to intake manifold , (intercooler) . If you have an ADA , it not that easy.

To do like hagar it must have been a Turbo Jetta 1985 with a LDA not a ADA .

I can tell you what you have . Post a close up pic of "Space ship"..
