My dog Sydney has been in a wheelchair for 9 years. Recently up graded her chair, getting ready for the local VW show. Kanzan

Wow! What put him in the wheel chair, a bad back?

Is that a dachsund? (sp??)

CoolAir, She is a minature long hair dachsund. We think she broke her back jumping off a wall in our back yard, but not sure what caused it. She had back surgery, but it didn't help. Doc said if she didn't learn to walk, she would only last 6 months, that was 9 years ago, still can't walk. She gets lots of lower tract infections, has had more anti biotics than some small nations. She was a hit at the VW show, with her VW wheelchair. Must have had her picture taken 100 times. Kanzan

PS, My Caddy took second place in the Mk 1 division.

We have daschunds also.... We "lost" Buttercup who was 16 years old, a few years back.

Duke is on his last legs so to speak at 11 years right now.
