And.. It was low. Big surprise.
An interesting note.
To get the pressure in spec at 1000 pump rpm, it ended
up being high at 500 and a little less high at 750.
I didn't check past 1000 pump rpm, didn't see a reason too.
I did blip the throttle and observe the gauge raise pretty high.
So, my gauge is full of it, or.. Pump wear?
It seems to have better power, it feels more like I remember
them feeling before(I drove these for a long time years ago).
My 4th gear 45mph to 55mph test went from 10 seconds to
8 seconds, but that's only marginally better than saying it "feels"
better. I suspect MPG will tell the tale in time. No bad noises so far.
I bet it's loud cold though. I had retarded the pump a hair by ear to
alleviate some of the rattles while warming up a few weeks ago, have not checked it with a gauge yet.
Finally checked pump pressure..
