I agree that 100% BD yields a bit less MPG. When I run 100% petro diesel it improves by 5% or 10%. I've just never seen 50 mpg. I'll try driving 60 mph for a few days and see what it does for it.

I'd like to see 50 mpg. What speed do I need to drive to get this kind of smilage? I regularly get 44.4 to 44.6 mpg. One time I got 44.8 mpg. I drive 70 to 73 mph on fairly flat roads. 64 miles per day round trip x 5 is 320 miles per week. Another 80 miles per week is in town stop and go.

Yes Fatmobile, I had all the small tubes hooked up to the injector barbs. As a test I pulled the one that was connected to the small nipple that is on the "out" banjo. This showed fuel was pumping out the IP while the engine was running. What's this about fuel will flow so fast...............

Can someone tell me the spec for Pop Pressure for the injectors for my 1986 1.6NA? I imagine there is a small range of pressure that is considered good.
