i set slow idle, and she wont hot restart, wait a couple of minutes and she cranks and gets going. when i rev her up she doesnt go back to idle she sits at 1300 or so then idles, eventually stalling, not restarting. crank her when she's hot and its black smoke. maybe 1 or more of the injectors are b...

well she runs better, but no hot restart, no low idle. so the screw, ? out will be more? and in less? fuel. cannt think what the else the problem could be just flush the pump out w/heavy duty cleaner i mean she sounds like she wants to run, but is not firing on all 4, maybe 2, if she was firing on 3...

dont know 2 much about van shift, but check all your shift bushings 1st

dont worry about black color, 5k-7k sounds about right as a ballpark guess for synthetic, some oils can go some more, make sure your stuff at least works properly in a D. diesels (D) dont have the contaminates that a gas makes.
if you want there are oil flushouts aval.

well i may have found problem, a little is coming out of inj bodies, just need tighten. fortunately i gots new inj's, so a cool down and we shall see. thx all any word on flushes that would work on injector pump. never seen that before loose inj bodies, esp on new inj's. just happened to look there ...

check to see if you fuel filter drain plugs are closed too. 1 at top takes 10mm, big plastic one on the bottom,
just a trouble shooting sugestion

after tightening, ask for right way to tighten/loosen before doing. this is after tightening lines/ then purging, you may have to replace injectors 1 or more.
dirty. or worn out/broke

check your injection lines are tight, if this and then the purge doesnt work, check injectors are tight.
special way of tightening/loosening so you dont crack the head in the injector ports, about 48-52 ft.lbs., Donot loosen.
