could this cause my zero brake boost issue?

i drive a 85' that has the low 4th and .75 5th from the factory, there is indeed a gap there but its not bad at all. I climb all hills upto 4% in 5th, if they get steeper than that its screamin 4th time!

my na 1.6 is clattering alot more with the winter blend ULSD fuel. Sounds very loud until fully warm

i also drilled the restrictors out as when i removed the oil cap at idle it was like a shop vac in reverse- tons of air and oil mist- I removed the intake as shaveings would drop in. I know i found whatever bit fit and drilled mine 2 sizes larger- no problems with it since!
