Frank,
IF you don't care what color it is I'll send you one for $10 postage paid. If you have a color preference, make it known and I'll see if I can help.

Svend, I take it you are not pleased with the new super low sulphur fuel for Bunny Bondo? This parafin business has me intrigued but I'm nervous about plugging up my in-tank filter, fuel filter, fuel lines, and IP with a bunch of wax. That micro screen in the tank would/is easy to fill with crud and...

WTB Gray Windshield Pillar Plastic Trim

Driver's side, just on the inside of the windshield- L and LS Models have a plastic cover that is held vertically in place by two phillips screws. Anyone have a gray one?

Hagar (Svend) may be a self-proclaimed Geezer but he is not SENILE. No way that his mind is not running smooth and effecient just like his Rabbit. Don't let the typos and grammatical errors fool you. Hagar does very well with english considering his native language is Danish. If you can just determi...

Greetings fellas! I'm hoping that 2-cycle engine oil will suffice to keep things slippery- year around. Do you all think that this low-sulfer/low-lubricity fuel will require more than a cup of 2-cycle and a dash of Power Service? The parafin thing that Hagar has going on sounds like a great deal for...

Plastic tube eh? So what- You have been offered some great pointers but I feel that you are a bit baffled by the plastic shielding attached under the TDI. Just get the right bit and an electric drill/screwdriver and zip the center cover off. They are easy to put back on also and then you can inspect...

Don't let Hagar's "glow plug" status fool you guys. Hagar is a geezer and has forgotten more about diesels than most of us will ever know. Listen carefully when he chimes in! Welcome Aboard!

I always set my cap on the fuel pump. That way, when I drive off and leave it, there is a chance that I can return later and the attendant will have it or it will still be sitting there. NEVER put it on the car as you now know what can and will happen!!

Not sure about the vanagon but a 1.6 Rabbit takes about a gallon of coolant. Drain it at the thermostat/water pump hose. Refill the block first by using the upper hose and a funnel. Then fill the tank & radiator. Let it run till coolant is circulating, watch the level and add coolant as needed u...

For the 2004 TDI you must use the recommended oil- not available most places. Check with you dealership or VW prior to taking up servicing of this vehicle.
