Hi,
As some of you may know I fried my preheat time controller the other day, and it is seemingly impossible to find a new or even second hand controller here in Australia.
Would someone be kind enough to tell me how much a new one is or even a good second hand one in their country? would you be willing to sell and send me one? I am happy to pay all costs involved by paypal or similiar!
I know I could just wire everything up with switches, however I do like the idea of only needing to turn the key.. as I would need to wire the diesel stop valve and glowplugs which I cant be bothered doing
Alex

moved
I moved this over to the buy and sell fora because it seems more like you are looking to buy something than to find info about it.
Somewhere on here the part numbers are listed for the slow and fast glow glowplug relays.
Your car probably has the silver top, slow glow glow plugs right?

Re: moved
Thanks fatmobile, sorry about posting in the wrong section!
Yes they are silver top bosch glowplugs, I believe I have the part number on the relay 3.400.100 but the problem is Australia does not have the population of the U.S.A and we dont have as many automotive parts suppliers like you do!
I believe the glow plugs are slow, as it takes 10 - 15 seconds before the light switches off
I will take a look on ebay, hopefully I will find it quickly as I would like to get it on the road as soon as possible ..

tip
I wired the system to a "starter solenoid", which is nothing more than a big relay
it lets me turn on the glowplugs for as long as I want, and the relay system still turns them on as long as it deems necessary
I also installed the bosch "duraterm" glowplugs, they can stay on 3+minutes
