did you change the fuel filter at all or how many times since the intank screen you cleaned? sometimes things get in and don't come out right away.

This afternoon I rigged up a spare windshield washer jug and it's pump to the infeed line to the IP. Fuel out goes back to the ws washer jug so the fuel can circulate.

Ran this for a couple minutes to see that IP is all primed and no air bubbles. Cranked the engine and it won't start at all.

Eventually I held the accerator pedal half way down and it started right up, took my foot off the pedal and still it raced up the RPMs to where I thought it might blow the engine. This happened in just a second or two. Turned off the key which de-energizes the fuel solenoid and the engines stops.

Something must be broken inside the IP. Guess I'll take it off and get it checked out.
