heated driver seat
I'd like to install a heated driver seat in my 1989 Jetta. In the local auto salvage yard I found a MK3 (1993?) seat with the heating components and switch. Anybody know if the mounting to the floor is the same for MK3 as it is for MK2? Thanks.

Re: heated driver seat
It's not.
Sometimes you can stuff the foam into a different seat base,

Re: heated driver seat
Maybe I'll see if I can buy the various heated seat components on Ebay and install them into my existing seat. (I doubt Jack handles this kind of stuff) Or maybe on top of the existing seat; cover it with an aftermarket seatcover.
