audi 100 2.0 td engine swap

since it is almost impossible to fix the engine( head is warped and milled several times) and those old 5 and 6 zyl vw diesel engines are notorius for head gasket failures, i am planning on an engine swap. I would like to use audi 100 C4 2.5 tdi 85 kw engine for that purpose, but i am not quite shure whether it is going to be an easy swap or big trouble. I dont know the differences between c3 and c4 platforms. I am looking for the easiest way to get my audi on the road again.
